I recently did a session at BrainShare 2007 that compared Novell’s OES product and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10.  One of the many topics we covered was how printing capabilities compare.

One difference that was pointed out was the ability for Novell’s iPrint technology to automatically download printer drivers and install them for users, while SLES has more limited capabilities.  SLES can do something similar however.  It supports Windows desktops only and uses CUPS and SAMBA.  Here’s a nice little Cool Solutions article that tells you how to get it set up.
